Qualitative Methods Help Desk: B.Y.O.Q. (Bring Your Own Questions)

In this first edition of what we hope will become a regular workshop, we invite all registered participants to bring your qualitative methods questions. Sarah Kaplan and Arvind Karunakaran will be ready to provide advice and reflect on any questions related to conducting qualitative research.

Please come prepared with some initial questions. These might cover anything from taking field notes, gaining access, building trust with informants, preparing interview guides, analyzing your data, crafting a contribution, etc. We hope to create a space in which qualitative researchers can reflect on their methods and "tricks", learn how others do it, and receive useful advice to overcome challenging steps in the process. Think IT Helpdesk... but for research.
