Pedro is an organizational ethnographer with a particular interest in classic themes in management and organization theory. He studies bureaucracy and formal organizational structures focusing on their implications for collaboration, learning, innovation, and expert work. For more information visit  

Samantha Ortiz

Sam is an ethnographer of work and organizations with an interest in political activism and public service. Current projects include the study of commitment and responsibility in voluntary organizations and the study of worker alienation from institutionalized collective action. In her ongoing dissertation, she explores issues of expert work and bureaucratic culture in Mexican public administration.
