Writing a monograph dissertation in a business school

Eliana Crosina
Babson College
This workshop is aimed at PhD students wanting to write a monograph-style dissertation versus the three paper format that has become pervasive within business schools. Particularly for young ethnographers, writing up their dissertation research in this form might be appealing while also having concerns about carving out job market papers and the pressure of publishing articles after graduation. This workshop will be a moderated conversation with Professors Eliana Crosina (Babson College), Julia DiBenigno (Yale School of Management), and Madeline Toubiana (Alberta School of Business) who successfully defended dissertation monographs in their graduate studies.
