Co-authoring qualitative research when one author was not ’there'

In this workshop we will discuss the value and challenges of co-authoring qualitative research when one of the authors was not directly involved in data collection. In acknowledging the advantages of collaboration in ethnographic and qualitative research we will also discuss how to avoid unhelpful or abusive practices. Our mentors will draw on their experience coauthoring as junior and senior scholars to outline best practices.
